So far I love it
I bought this pack to replace my Distance 15 which was stolen during a TH vehicle break-in. So far, it's working great and is much easier to get on and off than my older 15 was due to the fabric vest material. I wish there was a loop for the end of my water bladder bite valve that would keep that secure and in the right place.

Incredible Pack needs 1 upgrade
This pack is my favorite bag by far! Holds plenty of stuff for long days on trail and remains runnable. The external stretch pockets are my favorite feature which allows me to easily access important things quickly. I have added a small piece of foam inside the hydration sleeve to give the bag a little more structure that also doubles as my sit pad. I would like to see BD add minimal water bottle pockets on the sides for those trails that require a bit water. Perhaps some stretchy mesh pockets to hold 2 more flasks or smart water bottles?

Great Pack !
I'm enjoying my long runs in the hills with this pack, poles and 10 essentials fit well. Pack stays tight, pockets are good, space is useful. Easy on and off. I wear a waist belt or pack with it no problem. Light jacket will fit right over the pack no issues. No complaints and hope it holds up.

Great pack and firm fitting.
Ordered a medium who was a little too snug (I was on limit of med). Reordered large. Quality looks great and fitment/features look impressive. Not put it any heavy use yet but initial use is very positive.

Very stable - good runner
Loving this pack for both running and day hiking. There is a little movement when not fully loaded down but it’s manageable and you can help it by tightening the sides.

Simply Amazing!
Used this for an overnight backpacking trip and it kept making me say "WOW". It's comfortable, it moves with you, it sure can hold a lot! Chock full of great little design details. Looking forward to doing some long scrambles with it.

Perfect for long mountain adventures. Super versatile. Watch for Sizing
I wanted a versatile pack that could do both long days in the alpine and long trail runs. Something that would do the job when climbing volcanos in the Cascades or 14ers in CO, year-round. Something I could run comfortably with, then transition to hiking as terrain gets steeper, and then transition to glacier travel on the final stretch to the summit. After a few trips, I can say this bag is super solid and does it all. It's surprisingly large and will carry crampons, 2 ice axes, poles, helmet, shell pants, shell jacked, puffy, winter gloves, 3l of water and food for a day with no problem and room to spare. The expandable sack opening works really well to make the bag smaller or larger. Even with all this gear and weight, the bounce when running was minimal and very manageable. I will say one key thing about the bounce when running: There are definitely reviews out there that complain about it, but I really think it is due to improper sizing. I purchased a size L, being 6'2", 175lbs with pretty large chest, all upper body running gear I'm always at least a Large. This yielded too much bounce. I returned the bag and almost gave up, but decided to try size M. This made a huge difference and practically eliminated the bounce. While on the go, adjusting the straps to be fairly tight is also critical to reduce the bounce. Especially once you pull stuff like jacket or helmet out of the bag, you need to tighten the chest straps, otherwise the bag will bounce. The strap pockets are probably the weakest part, but it's okay. The zippered pockets are bit too small even for a standard smart phone in a case. It fits, but not easily. The side pockets on the straps are also just okay. They're too shallow, so stuff can fall out. Despite this, I do think it's the best bag out there for the job and super versatile. It's also versatile and large enough to serve as a day pack during travel etc. I used it also in place of a simple running vest for few hour trail runs when I only carry water and some food. If you cinch the sides, it works well and doesn't bounce. No chafing either, even after a 3-hour shirtless sweaty run. I give it 4 stars, but overall love this bag.

Great for an overnight
This bag is great for a single overnight with UL gear. With a couple compression sacks I can just get everything I need in. Two notes for the four stars: a minimal, removable hip belt would help stop bouncing when not fully loaded; when the main compartment is stuffed the side pockets are difficult to use, it would be better if they were stretchy. Despite that it's a great pack for my purposes. Any longer than one night and I would size up to the pursuit 30, if only to accommodate the extra food and more than a minimal tarptent.
