Why We Like The Black Diamond Betalight 30 Backpack
The Black Diamond Betalight 30 Backpack is extremely durable and customizable, offering incredible versatility for everyone from casual day hikers to minimalist backpackers. The bag is made of Ultra 200 fabric, which is tear-resistant, waterproof, and light, so we can confidently stride into any adventure, knowing our gear will make it through. The hip belt, compression straps, and frame pad can all be removed to cut weight, and the roll-top closure minimizes pack size and bulk. The large front pocket stores extra layers or other larger items, with two mesh side and two zippered hip belt pockets to organize our smaller essentials, allowing us to maximize the small internal pack size.

An almost perfect UL backpack.

As an ultralight Backpacker, I leave my honest review here. First, I have to say that I was excited when I got this backpack; the fabrics and the implementation are outstanding excellent job Black Diamond. The fast backpack idea with those extra shoulder straps makes this backpack ideal. Not only is this one waterproof or almost, but it is merely one of the best backpacks I ever owned. Believe it or not, I have tried several UL backpacks in my career. The only downside I see is that the shoulder pocket with the zipper is too tiny to hold a standard-sized cell phone comfortably. If I had a bigger one, I could guarantee it would never fit inside.
