I wish these would have worked out. Loved the light corduroy, the color, the softness, the pockets, the length of high waist however, the width of waist itself was certainly not a 'women's' size 10. For reference, I am 49, 5'7", 138 lbs, with a slim build. I am a size 29 JCrew jean/pant, and a size 8 everywhere else I shop for pants/skirts/shorts. I purchased these in a size 10 because I know Basin & Range pants run small, and thought that a size 10 should do it (probably fit just right). But, no. Where on earth does Basin & Range think women's waists are on their bodies, where their necks are? I have no idea how they size their clothing, or how to order their clothing online b/c their size charts are not accurate. Not everyone over 30 has an 18" waist, and if you do, these pants are for you! Unfortunately I have to send them back, and that's really too bad because they're nice cords. Honestly, everything else about them are great except the waistline. I'm beginning to think Basin & Range doesn't make clothing (at east pants) for 'women'.

Initial impression was that I really loved the details, color, and light weight fabric used for these pants and appreciate the high waist and curve leg fit, but I could not get over how weirdly low the pockets are placed. It is not flattering on someone who has a full butt. Looks weird, sadly.

I love the pants, corduroy and funky color. The waist is small and too high. I am going to keep them but they will need to be altered. I sized up thinking I have a relaxed fit. Nope. Small waist.

I want these in like 5 more colors ! Bought them in one color for Black Friday and just bought them in a second color yesterday. My ideal pant. Flattering, modern, chic, comfy. I also bought some Marine Layer Bridget Cords and MUCH prefer these for fit, style, and price ! These don’t try too hard to be trendy and are perfectly the moment right now. Like threading the needle between effort and effortless.

This has become my favorite cord pant this fall, it pairs really well with everything and the curve leg fit is unique and comfortable. I like that the fabric is not to heavy like most cords and the length works perfectly with boots. I am a size six and find the high waist fit is true to size

If you're like me and trying to build out your fall/winter wardrobe, you need to add these corduroys! Not only are they super comfortable to wear, they're also stylish and are great for pairing with sweaters and cropped t-shirts alike. Add a pair of Blundstone boots and a Coal Headwear beanie, and you've got yourself an outfit that just screams "granola girl fall aesthetic." Based off the models' sizing, I initially ordered a size 6, which was a bit big in the waist for me. I exchanged the 6 for a size 4, which fits my waist much better but the crotch seam fits a bit weird now. The 6 was big in the waist but the crotch fit correctly, so I think I am truly in between sizes for this particular pant. The only other thing to note is that the pants are made out of kind of a thin material and are 100% cotton. I'm a little nervous about them shrinking, but I think as long as I follow the washing instructions on the tag, it'll be okay.
