Great comfortable trail shoe.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these shoes while hiking Hadrian's Wall Path, and they performed great. They are comfortable underfoot and provide excellent grip on rocky and craggy sections. Will they take you up Helvellyn? Probably not. But for walking trails and the occasional scramble, they are more than adequate. The shoes have a springy feel, almost as if they're propelling you forward, even with a fully loaded rucksack. My only complaint is that they don't breathe very well. The GTX lining tends to leave your feet sweaty. However, they do keep your feet dry from rain and flooded patches on the trail, which is a big plus. Overall, I've chuffed I brought these along.
